L.I. Animatic

This is the animatic to my final year film L.I. THE PASSWORD IS UFO lower case, feedback is welcome.

Stylistic Design

This is Theodor in situation, giving an idea of how he will fit into the scene. It displays the style I want my final film to have and also how the colours of Theodor and the set create a great contrast.

Production Test

A quick animation test done in flash. It gives an idea of how the Miro's (alien) hand will emerge from the ground.

Props and Set Design

The colour palette for the sets and props are pastel greens, greys and browns. I coloured the character of Theodor using purples to strongly contrast with his surrounding. The Miro (alien) and the spacecraft were coloured using bluer greens, making it appear otherworldly. 

Interiors Props and Set Design:

Here is the interior layout illustrating how all the props fit into the set:

Exterior Props and Set Design:

 Seven grave stones will be made and reused in different shots. Similarly one spacecraft will be made and then placed around the set. Taking multiple pictures, I will then use masks on After Effects to give the impression various spacecrafts litter Theodor's lawn.

I really want to explore the lighting of my shots, both in the filming and post production.

The expressions showcase some of the emotions my character goes through during my film.

Character Turnarounds

These are the turnarounds for the characters in my final year film. Theodor Clayton and the extraterrestrial species The Miro. More to be uploaded soon.

The Miro (alien) will come up to Theodor's chest. I made Theodor square in shape so he would appear strong. While I made the Miro curved with softer edges, I wanted the design to be spooky, but not scary.
